Rohen Sood – Investment Manager at Reinventure Group

Rohen has been with the Reinventure Groups fund for over 4 years joining shortly after inception. He has been involved in the diligence in all 23 deals and currently sits on the board of Indebted, Codelingo, Slyp and Basiq.

Prior to joining Reinventure, Rohen spent four years as a Management Consultant with firms such as AT Kearney and PwC.

Melissa Widner – General Partner at NAB Ventures

Melissa Widner is a General Partner at Nab Ventures, a division of NAB, Australia’s largest business bank. Through her experience she has a deep understanding of both the entrepreneur’s journey and the role of a Venture Capitalist. As CEO she led two companies to successful acquisitions that provided over a 10X return to investors. She co-founded and was the CEO of Silicon Valley enterprise software company, 7Software (acquired by Concur Technologies NASDAQ: CNQR, acquired by SAP).

Melissa served as a general partner at SeaPoint ventures, a US based venture capital firm focused on mobile technologies and SaaS enterprise software solutions. She is an active angel investor who served on the board of US based Alliance of Angels, one of the longest running and most active angel groups in the world. Melissa has served on the boards of several venture backed technology companies. She was a lecturer in the subjects of Venture Capital and Entrepreneurship at University of Washington’s MBA program.

Hein Vogel – Co Manager Investec Emerging Companies

Hein specialises in investing in, advising and connecting emerging companies and entrepeneurs. Hein has over 17 years of experience in structuring and providing financial and strategic advice in relation to various commercial transactions including Dresden, MadeComfy, Wholesale Investor, Splend, Openpay, PulseID, HUB24, Amaysim Australia and PAS Group to name a few.

Hein has held a range of very relevant positions starting his career as a Lawyer at Allens Arthur Robinson, before moving into the Capital Markets as a Senior Manager at Macquarie Capital Advisors. Hein now sits on the Board or advisory board of numerous companies around the world including Wholesale Investor, Splend, Dresden and MadeComfy.

Martin Rogers CIO at KTM Ventures

Martin Rogers is a successful start-up investor and company director. Mr Rogers has Chemical Engineering and Computer Science degrees and has a depth of experience in incubating companies and publicly listed organisations. Mr Rogers backs founders who are building remarkable businesses and work with them to make it a reality.

Mr Rogers has experience in all aspects of financial, strategic and operational management and has helped raise over $200m cash equity. Mr Rogers has been both an investor and senior executive in a private funded advisory business in the tech, science and lifesciences sectors, where he was instrumental in significantly increasing the value of those investments.

In addition to being the current CIO at KTM Ventures and Innovations Fund LP, Martin is active in various other areas, including the Director of Independent Reserve – The Digital Currency Market, Director – Idnetitii and Senior Advisor – The Lind Partners LLC.

Kevin O’Hara Group CIO / Investment Portfolio Manager at Tulla Private Equity

Kevin O’Hara has a long history as an investor and as a startup founder having founded three and exited two very successful Australian startups to private equity. Kevin has since completed his MBA with a major in Digital Transformation and Business Intelligence and now works in the Venture Capital and Private Equity investment sector as the Group CIO and Investment Portfolio Manager for Tulla Private Equity Group (Maloney Family Office) based in Sydney. Kevin has also completed postgraduate studies at INSEAD business school in France and Harvard Business School.

Kevin is also Co-founder and CEO of the Techwitty Digital Advisory, a member of the Havven.io Advisory Board, Advisory Board Member at Lakeba Group, Advisor to The Crypto Company, Gather Online Social Media in South Africa and sits on a range of other philanthropic and strategic global advisory boards. Kevin is an investor, mentor, and passionate member of the global startup and Blockchain ecosystem.

Fiona Rose Client Services Manager at Jobs for NSW

Fiona is a Client Services Executive whose career spans a variety of industries including education, social housing, transport and logistics, and most recently the public service.

Having established and managed many of her own businesses, Fiona is passionate about assisting high-potential companies to access the capital and networks required to enable their success and further growth.

Fiona is currently the Director of Client Engagement at Jobs for NSW, where she leads a team providing financial support to startups and emerging and fast-growth small to medium enterprises (SMEs), with the aim of helping them scale and grow sustainable new jobs in NSW.

Fiona has a Master’s Degree in Applied Linguistics from University of Technology Sydney, and a Bachelor of Arts from Macquarie University.
